Have Your Say: Changes to Your Tenancy Agreement
We are reviewing and updating your tenancy agreement and we want your views on the changes we’re proposing.
Your tenancy agreement is a legally binding document that sets out what is expected from you as a Council tenant and what you can expect from us as your landlord. As your landlord, it’s our responsibility to make sure this agreement is clear, up to date, and fit for purpose.
Because this is an important legal document, we must consult with you before making any changes. This survey is your opportunity to share your feedback and suggestions.
Once the consultation closes, we will review all responses, make any necessary changes, and update you on the final agreement.

What’s Changing?
We’ve prepared a Summary of Proposed Changes document and a short video to explain the updates in a clear and simple way.
Please read the summary before starting the survey — or keep it open as you go through the questions, as some will relate to specific changes.
If you think there are other changes we should make to the tenancy agreement, you can share your suggestions within the survey.
Deadline to Have Your Say
The consultation closes at midnight on Friday 31 October 2025.
Please complete the survey before this date to make sure your views are included.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — your views will help shape the final tenancy agreement.
