We have to think about the costs involved in keeping our essential services running. We always absorb as much of the costs as we can to limit rent increases.
This year we have reviewed our investment programme and to maintain the services, given the external cost pressures we are facing, rents will have to rise.
Rent options for next year (starting April 2026)
Option 1: Increase rent by 4% - Average rent goes up £4.14 per week
Option 2: Increase rent by 5% Average rent goes up £5.18 per week
What does this mean?
If you choose option 1, we will continue to deliver existing level of service.
Option 2 means we can commit more money to improving our housing
services.
Under both options we will look to protect key housing services.
