These options are based on keeping rents affordable whilst being able to deliver the things you have said are important to you.
Rent options for next year (starting April 2026)
Option 1: Increase rent by 4% - Average rent goes up £4.36 per week
Option 2: Increase rent by 4.5% - Average rent goes up £4.91 per week
Option 3: Increase rent by 5% - Average rent goes up £5.45 per week
What does this mean?
The lower option allows us to keep providing essential services, but we may need to limit planned maintenance or implement higher rent increases in future.
The middle option maintains services and allows us to continue with current property investment plans.
If you choose the higher option, we will be able to set aside funds for work to meet future net zero targets.
To be clear, under all options we will look to protect essential housing services.
