We need your views on how homes are allocated in Stockport!
There are currently over 9000 active applicants registered for housing with Stockport homes and last year less than 600 properties became available for reletting.
Available empty properties are allocated in line with Stockport Councils Allocations Policy, which aims to make the best use of homes and give preference to those most in need. Applicants are awarded points based on their current housing circumstances and need.

Supply of empty homes can not meet the demand of the housing register and we are currently asking residents for their views on the policy.
