Apply to be part of the Community Investment and Social Value Co-Creation Group

We’re looking for up to 12 residents who’d like to work with the Community Investment and Social Value (CISV) team!

We welcome applications from all residents. It would be especially helpful if you have lived experienced of any of our priority themes and/or professional experience in the community sector, contract management or social value. We’re a Disability Confident organisation, so we’ll also make sure that you get the right support to be part of the group.

The group will learn about what the CISV team does and decide together what they want to focus on. Topics could include designing and setting up a new community project, reviewing performance of existing projects, looking at how our supply chain can better support resident communities, and more.

Here’s what the team are working on this year:

Setting up and supporting community projects on the following themes:

  • Mental health
  • Social connection
  • Community safety
  • Activities for young people
  • Improving community spaces
  • Connecting communities

Asking our supply chain to support residents and their local communities:

  • Offer jobs, apprenticeships and work experience
  • Donate items to residents and charities (e.g. digital equipment)
  • Offer training and workshops
  • Volunteer their time to help with projects or local charities where residents live Support young people (school visits and careers fairs)
  • Donate money to local charities or for community activities
