Service, Performance and Customer Experience Committee (SPaCE)

We’re on the lookout for two passionate customers to join SPaCE. SPaCE is all about making sure your voice is heard and shaping the services that matter to you. As a committee member, you’ll:

• Help improve customer services based on real feedback
• Review and approve policies that affect you and your neighbours
• Make a real impact on how we deliver housing and support
• Ensure we meet important legal and regulatory standards

Free First Aid Training

We're pleased to offer opportunities throughout 2025 for you to join us on our Emergency First Aid at work training. This one day HSE compliant Course takes place at our Old Park, Telford Office and The Northfield Centre in Stafford. The course takes a no-nonsense approach, meaning you will get to know, what you need to know - without the waffle. It will prepare you for an emergency both in and out of work.

Isherwoods Walkabout

We recently did a walkabout and litter pick in the Isherwoods area of Wem with the area housing team and Connexus. Our vans were there for the bulky items and to clear the communal bin stores. The rest of the team chatted with residents while litter-picking along the way. We are always on the lookout for the most unusual find and we weren’t disappointed when Louise from the housing team found a beetle pendant.

St Georges Primary School Careers Day

Michele and Kathryn had an amazing morning with over 60 year five children at St Georges Primary School Careers Day.  The children were given the opportunity to hear from a number of people throughout the day and explore a wide variety of careers including being a secret agent. Whilst we couldn’t match the excitement of MI5 the children were really enthusiastic about the careers we have on offer at Wrekin.

New free Telford Youth club

There is a new youth club in Oakengates. Oakengates Youth Club is held on Friday evenings at the Salvation Army Hall, TF2 6AQ. Age 7-11 start at 6pm and age 12-18 starts at 7.30pm.
