EV Charging - Help us shape future policy

As more of us switch to electric cars. We are looking for your views on how we incorporate chargers into our properties. If owning an EV is of interest to you we would love your thoughts. We will be holding an online workshop to help shape our future policy. If you would like to take part please email getinvolved@wrekin.com

Free First Aid Training

We're pleased to offer opportunities throughout 2025 for you to join us on our Emergency First Aid at work training. This one day HSE compliant Course takes place at our Old Park, Telford Office and The Northfield Centre in Stafford. The course takes a no-nonsense approach, meaning you will get to know, what you need to know - without the waffle. It will prepare you for an emergency both in and out of work.

Sonya Proctor Sales our Training Development Officer says; " We start by discussing the emergency plan - what to do before moving on to basic life support. After this we actively involve everyone in the hands-on process, teaching them how to do CPR and other life-saving techniques."

Energy advice drop-in

Earlier this week Kathryn and Michele joined Lois from our Money Matters team at an Energy event at Woodside's Park Lane Centre. The event was well attended and it was great to see the community come together to learn about energy saving and the support that is available. We had some great conversations with tenants and or local partners.

Get that Job is back! Our next sessions will be at Donnington's Silver Threads Hall, 10 -12 February and are open to tenants and their families. Run over three days in small groups the sessions will help build confidence about jobs and careers. Email opportunities@wrekin for more information.
