Have your say on the fairness and equality of our new policies
Help review our policies through Equality Impact Assessments. Join staff across the organisation to make sure our decisions are fair and inclusive. Each EIA takes about an hour and will be held via TEAMs video call.

Our next EIA reviews:

  • Damp and Mould Policy – Tuesday 12 August at 10 am
  • Building Safety Policy – Tuesday 12 August at 2 pm
  • Lift Management Policy  –  Thursday 14 August at 11 am
  • Electrical Safety Policy – Tuesday 19 August at 1.30 pm

If you would like to attend, please email getinvolved@wrekin.com and let us know which EIA you are interested in.

Over the next few weeks, look out for opportunities to have your say on the draft polices which follow the EIAs.

SPaCE meeting update

This week, our Service Performance and Customer Experience committee met. On the agenda was customer engagement from the last quarter, which included our recent project on social housing stigma and feedback on the development strategy. We will provide more detailed feedback over the next few weeks on recent projects. Look out for further ways to get involved in these topics and more.

MP Drop-In

Dave and Michele attended a recent MP drop in at Coalbrookdale Village Hall. It was a busy afternoon and a great opportunity to catch up with other local organisations. MP Shaun Davies was keen to share his focus on supporting local veterans. We were able to give advice and guidance to several people visiting the event.

Park Lane Housing Pop Up

It may have been a grey afternoon, but that didn't stop us getting out and about around the Park Lane Centre, Madeley. We held a pop up stand where we chatted to residents and entertained children with face painting and activities. The housing and environmental teams were on hand to discuss any local issues and scour the area for litter and any bulky waste.
