Public Consultation of Potential Development at Crookfield, Staveley
Castles & Coasts are excited to announce our plans for a new development at Crookfield, Staveley which would see an additional 25 affordable homes delivered to the local community. Staveley is a picturesque and sought-after village located in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, 4 miles North West of Kendal, and sits inside the Lake District National Park. The new development will be the third phase of development for the Crookfield scheme, with Castles & Coasts  having previously delivered two successful phases totalling 31 units, with Phase 2 reaching completion in November 2019. The existing phases have proved extremely popular with local residents, with demand significantly outweighing supply across all Rented, Rent to Buy and Shared Ownership tenures.

The new proposed development is for a total of 25 properties - including five houses for open market sale with local occupancy restrictions - and would be a mix of 2-bedroom bungalows and 2, 3 & 4 bedroom houses. Phase 3 would again include a combination of Affordable Rent, Rent to Buy, Shared Ownership and Open Market properties, designed to help meet the previously identified and ongoing needs of the local community in Staveley. The site location benefits from views of Howgills and Kentmere in this fantastic Lake District village.
