Freehold Improvements (April 2024)

Customers and residents of Freehold have asked us to consider security in the area. In response, we are looking at the following measures: -

- Improving access to your home by creating zones focused around existing stairwells

- Creating a new entrance feature to each zone

- Creating better refuse/recycling facilities

In addition to the new zones, we propose to enclose the stairwells to your block to further restrict access to only residents and their visitors. Would you prefer the stairwell on your block to be open, as they currently are, or secured with a fob entry system? [Required]

A key improvement that we are considering is changing the way you dispose of your rubbish and recycling. The chutes will be closed off and access to the bin and recycling areas will be via a fob at ground level, instead of a chute. This will increase capacity for residents and allow larger bags to be disposed of and recycling to be improved. This should also help to prevent overflowing and contamination of the current recycling stations, and in turn help towards the management of pests. It will also prevent non residents accessing the bins. Do you envisage any issues with accessing bins in this way? [Required]
